Karen

Kia Ora,

My yoga journey started in 1999 when I attended a practice at a local Recreation centre, and I was hooked Immediately. I loved how I felt more centred, balanced, my mind became uncluttered, life was more in perspective, and I got stronger than I have ever been. I have never regretted going to a yoga practice and credit yoga for maintaining my mental and physical well being.

In 2016 I took the plunge and did my teacher training so I could share the transformative yoga experience to everybody. Since then, I have taught Trauma informed yoga, restorative yin yoga, hot power yoga, vinyasa flow, yin yang, meditation, yoga Nidra, chair yoga ….

I am inspired to see people’s growth and hear about their experience to inform my teaching practice. I am proud to be a part of Adapted Yoga and Palates recognising everyone’s uniqueness so we can work together to maximise the impact of your practice. I look forward to leading your yoga practice exploring breath with movement, balance postures, body awareness to build strength, steps that enable safe flexibility, and a space to be a human being not a human doing . Namaste Karen.
