This would have to be one of the biggest myths we have about our classes!

To put it as simply as we can- you come to class to get fitter, stronger and more flexible.
The only pre requisite to coming to class is that you want to become better.

Obviously this would be a really short blog if we just kept it at this. As much as we would love to be this blunt at times.

To improve something (and that means anything from daily habits, a skill, fitness and so forth) you must practice it. The power of repeated practice is astounding. It literally changes your brain and your nervous system. Physically you create long term adaptations that will change your health significantly- this includes increasing the amount of blood vessels you have, improving the ability of your heart and lungs, creating denser, stronger and better moving muscles, improving your mind body connections and improving your endocrine (hormonal) system.

Imagine if someone told you- just go to this thing for an hour (with really nice people). Once. You will burn more calories over the next 48 hrs, you will feel better, you will decrease your stress levels and have more energy.

Then imagine what the effects would be if you were to repeat this thing. This scientifically proven method of improving your body, mind, breath?

To quote the late great Joseph Pilates. “In 10 sessions you will feel better, in 20 you will look better, in 30 sessions you will have a whole new body”.

If you want to feel better, be calmer, be fitter, stronger, flexible, manage your pain and your energy better, improve quality of life, the answer is very, very simple.

Get started.
Repeat.
